Diego Costa red card
Costa sent off for insulting the referee last weekend v Barcelona
4 match ban for the insult
Another 4 for grabbing the referees arm

The match report :
"In the 28th minute the player Diego Da Silva Costa was sent off for the following motive: he shouted loudly at me the following words: 'I SHIT ON YOUR WHORE MOTHER, I SHIT ON YOUR WHORE MOTHER."

Referee seems a bit over sensitive to me
What CAN you say to a referee these days?

How does "Cunted in the bastard" translate?

eusebiovic 5:07 Fri Apr 12
Re: Diego Costa red card
The actual phrase is...

Me cago en tu puta madre

On the scale of seriousness it's like the Spanish equivalent of shitcunt without being a direct translation - it's quite a common insult which is used frequently to express cuntiness

Being secretary of our football club I have had a few of these to deal with over the years... always fun dealing with the FA to explain players emotions... Ha Ha Ha!!

His usual MO is gobbing on his glove and wiping it on a defender.
Then acting all surprised when they want to punch him

Surprised he didn't gob on the Ref, isnt that his usual M.O?

Deserved the Red for grabbing the ref as much as anything, bang out of order to slag his Mum, cunt footballer though, even though he is pretty good.

Why should the ref have to take that?

Re: Diego Costa red card
I'll be honest. I am no snowflake and don't easily get offended. But my question would be if you didn't get sent off for saying that to a ref and then grabbing him then I am unsure what would constitute a red.

Let's get it right, Costa is a cunt. He was dragged up in a shit hole and had to fight for everything growing up. It's made him a cunt. The type of cunt that says stuff like that to people and thinks its acceptable.

The bloke is a tough, no nonsense, doesn't give a fuck person. It's made him a cunt. A dirty, snidey, cheating, horrible cunt. He's a great player and you would want him in your team. But he's a cunt, always has been always will be.

No surprise by this report and that it is him.

Re: Diego Costa red card
My impression is that he hasn’t been sent off that many times.
Always seemed a master at winding people up and getting them to retaliate or just getting a yellow and then going no further ... except when he put his studs through Adrian and the ref bottled a straight forward second yellow.

Can just imagine players say as bad if not worse to refs most weeks (I do) and very rarely get a red card.
